In recent years, the use of lithium rechargeable batteries in e-bikes and e-scooters has surged. Unfortunately, this increase has also led to more house fires caused by these batteries. Charging them poses a significant fire hazard that is exceptionally difficult to extinguish. Many homes have been completely destroyed within minutes, and numerous incidents have resulted in injuries and even fatalities.

Introducing the WatchDog patented device, the ultimate solution to prevent most fires. This innovative device monitors the battery's temperature and behavior during the charging process, automatically disconnecting the charger when charging is complete or if the battery reaches a high temperature. Additionally, it detects any failures that cause temperature spikes, triggering a loud alarm and notifying the user to ensure timely intervention and enhanced safety.

How can you prevent lithium battery fires using the WatchDog?

A tiny unit will be permanently installed inside the battery housing. This unit monitors the battery condition and transmits every second the battery voltage and its temperature to the control unit connected to the charger.
Upon connection, the device will check that the charger is indeed suitable for charging the battery and will only start charging if the battery is within the permitted temperature range.
During charging, the process is monitored every few seconds and if a temperature abnormality is detected, or abnormal behavior of the battery, the controller will immediately disconnect the charger from the battery but continues to monitor the temperature.
If it is detected that the temperature of the battery continues to rise, the controller will immediately activate a strong audible alarm, which will allow the battery to be removed from the house before the fire breaks out.

Cellular Transmitter for  all sensors

The new battery operated  cellular transmitter model LCBS can be connected directly to load cells and all type of sensors that equipped with analog output signal. It allows customer to immediately connect their existing controller and watch the information directly from their browser. The data is transmitted directly to a dedicated app on the cloud  that also keeps the history, generate alerts and excel files.

Wireless monitoring system for tanks and silos

The Container / Silos Monitoring System enables wireless monitoring of the container and its contents including weight, pressure, temperature and viewing data from anywhere using the browser. The system operates on a battery that lasts for years and can therefore be installed anywhere and independent of power supply. The data is transmitted directly to a dedicated cloud application that also saves read history, displays graphs, allows data to be saved in Excel file and sends an email automatically in case of an exception
